Lyngo Portal Sign Up: Step‐by‐Step Guide

Verify your invite link, connect Cliniko, and configure your clinic details—no fluff, just the essentials.

 

Remember to keep your inputs for appointment details and clinic FAQs concise. This isn't the place for fluff, we require extremely concise straight forward information for the agent to perform well.

Sign Up & Email Verification

1. Open your invite link: Click the link in your email invite to access the Lyngo Portal.

2. Create an account: Provide your email address and a password.

3. Check your inbox: Verify your email by clicking the verification link we send (check your spam folder if it’s not in your inbox).

4. Login: Return to the portal (or refresh the page), log in, and you’re ready to start.


Payment Details

Enter your billing info: Once logged in, you’ll be prompted for payment details.

Note: You will only be charged AFTER your AI agent is live and you have completed your allocated trial.


Link Your Cliniko Account (API Key)

1. Generate an API key in Cliniko:

Log into Cliniko > Go to Settings > click Users & Practitioners

Click on your user >  Manage API key > and click Add API key to create a new key

2. Paste it into Lyngo: Return to the Lyngo portal and enter the key in the Cliniko API field, then click Next.


Select Your Location

Choose from the dropdown: If you have multiple “Businesses” (locations), pick the one you want Lyngo to handle.


Add Practitioners

1. Check the list: Lyngo will display the practitioners found in your Cliniko business.

2. Add to agent:

• Click a practitioner’s name.

• Tick “Add practitioner to agent”.

• Specify their profession (e.g., “Physiotherapist”).

• Click Update.

 

3. Repeat for each practitioner you want the AI to handle


Configure Appointment Types

1. Turn on each appointment:

For “First Appointment,” “Standard Appointment,” etc., toggle Add Appointment Type.

2. Briefly fill details:

Duration (minutes)

Price (in local currency e.g., £95, $95)

Agent Description (internal note for the AI, e.g. “New patients only”)

Patient Description (what the AI says to callers, e.g. “Includes a full assessment”)

3. Click ‘Update’ after each one.

Each descriptions must be concise and straight forward. This shouldn't be more than 1 short sentence.


Set Opening Hours

1. Enter daily times: For each day, fill in Open Time and Close Time (e.g., 09:00 – 17:00).

2. CLOSED: Type CLOSED on days you’re not open.


Clinic Address

1. Complete address fields: Street, City, State, Postcode, Country.

2. Add a note (optional): E.g. “Located near the train station” to help callers navigate hard to find places.


Clinic Services, FAQs, and Cancellation Policy

1. Services/Treatments: Name each service (e.g., Physio, Sports Massage).

2. FAQs: Short answers to common questions (insurance coverage, prices, etc.).

3. Cancellation Policy: Outline how far in advance patients must cancel.

Keep this as concise as possible, the shorter and more straight forward the better. 


Additional Info

1. Clinic name & website: Provide the official name and URL (if relevant).

2. Cliniko URL: Paste your Cliniko dashboard link (for reference).

3. Min Reschedule Time: Hours before an appointment that patients can reschedule.

4. Transfer calls: Tick “Allow agent to transfer calls” if needed, then enter a Transfer Phone Number (an internal line where calls can be routed)

This must be different from your public Clinic number. Please view our article on how to configure a transfers back line.

5. Clinic Type: Descriptor for type of service (e.g., “Osteopathy Clinic”).

6. Email Addresses: Add one or more email addresses for receiving messages (click the + Add item button to include more).


Confirmation

A “Thank you for submitting your clinic information!” message confirms you’ve finished. One of the Lyngo team will be in touch with a demo number once your AI Receptionist is setup.
